About me

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) which is the highest level of clinical social work license in Washington, DC. It is comparable to Virginia's LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) and Maryland's LCSW-C (Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical). I got my MSW at Catholic University in 1987.

I have practiced as a foster care social worker, a family therapist at a residential drug treatment facility (Second Genesis), and individual therapist at a community mental health agency in Montgomery County (CPC Health). At CPC Health I worked in both the outpatient substance abuse program and the child abuse and neglect program. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I currently work with adults individually and in groups.
